Fighting Chance Productions is pleased to present the CANADIAN PREMIERE of GREY GARDENS, based on the 1975 documentary about the lives of Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter. Book by Doug Wright. Music by Scott Frankel. Lyrics by Michael Korie. The Beales were Jacqueline Kennedy's aunt and cousin, respectively. Set at Grey Gardens, the Bouviers' mansion in East Hampton, New York, the musical tracks the progression of their lives from their original status as rich and socially polished aristocrats to their eventual largely isolated existence in a home overrun by cats and cited for repeated health code violations. However, its more central purpose is to untangle the complicated dynamics of their dysfunctional mother/daughter relationship.

Starring Cathy Wilmot (Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd), Lucas Blaney (Blood Brothers, The Wiz, Bare: A Pop Opera), Ranae Miller (Sound of Music, Cinderella), Sue Sparlin (Lost in Yonkers), Carmen J. Price, Jack Rigg (Hay Fever, The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Hal Rogers (Rent, Hair), Angela Cotton (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) and Emma Cawood (The Lieutenant of Inishmore, The Mystery of Edwin Drood).
