Reminder: Send in your Grey Gardens Gift Guide suggestions!

As in past years (2007, 2008, 2009), this raccoon created holiday gift guides for the Grey Gardens fans in your life. This year, I'm opening it up to suggestions. Please send in your suggestions for items that I should include in the guide to BusterLovesWonderBread@gmail.com, or even let me know if you plan on selling your own Grey Gardens memorabilia on eBay, etsy, or through some other site.

I'll compile and sift through suggestions in late November for an early December blog post.

Dandyland Adventures visits Grey Gardens in a comic book

Grey Gardens seems to be appearing as a location in fiction more and more frequently these days! J.C. Burdine's Bijoux Goes to Grey Gardens recently hit the scene, and now Dandyland Adventures has a comic book about visiting Grey Gardens.

Watercolor Print – Grey Gardens 8X10

When I paint I tend to utilize many different styles and techniques. I love wet-on-wet, and mixing it with other watercolor techniques. I am always experimenting with new subject matters and often select bits of images and meld them together to create one painting. I find painting the most relaxing practice I have ever discovered and have surprised myself many times and hopefully you will find pieces of my art you will enjoy as well.

This piece is called "GREY GARDENS" and was painted on October 2010. This is an watercolor print that was originally painted on 140lb. cold press paper. On the back is a small label with the title, my address, email and also signature.

You are purchasing an original watercolor print, 8X10, ready for matting or framing.

Alfred Dunner, how is this Grey Gardens?

We recently saw that Crate and Barrel is using the phrase "Grey Gardens" as the name of some linens, and that these linens have little, if nothing, to do with a Grey Gardens aesthetic.

Alfred Dunner has jumped on the bandwagon with a line titled Grey Gardens. See for yourself, and let me know if you think it has anything to do with Grey Gardens

Now accepting suggestions for the 2010 Grey Gardens ''Holiday Gift Guide''

Each December, this raccoon has done holiday gift guides for the Grey Gardens fans in your life in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Many new Grey Gardens items have come out each year, but, invariably, the guide isn't as extensive as it should be, and I receive several emails requesting additions to the list.

This year, however, I'm openly accepting suggestions for what to put on the list. Let's be extensive. And let's be creative. And let's not just include mass-produced items like books. If you have, for example, a letter from Edie that you plan to list on eBay in December, let me know and I'll include a link to it.

Email me at BusterLovesWonderBread@gmail.com with your suggestions and requests. And please email me sooner rather than later so that we can coordinate, in case we need to schedule your eBay listings, etc.
