Black Tie Magazine International Presents
A Grey Gardens Art Exhibition
Celebrating The Grey Gardens 35th Anniversary 1975–2010
The Maysles Brothers Documentary had its Premier Private Screening At the World Famous East Hampton Estate on Lily Pond Lane in 1975.
In attendance were "Big Edie" and "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale, the Aunt and Cousin of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis along with Lois Wright, and of course the filmmakers, Albert and David Maysles.
Who could have imagined that at this screening the dark on the second floor staircase landing of this crumbling mansion that International Film Festival Awards, Broadway Musical Awards with Christine Ebersole and its National TV Movie Awards for both Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lang would begin to unfold over the next 35 years.
The Bouvier Beales Loved the songs and Dance of Broadway
Created by Artist Bonnie Burton Gaenzle for the Astaire Awards Last June. It is truly a Masterpiece and there are plans for it to grace the lobby of one of these Broadway Theatres for this Fall Season. It is a Home that is worthy of the bird who lives in the Faberge Egg.
To Grey Gardens' amazing and fortuitous destiny...accelerando!
