Release date for HBO's Grey Gardens: November 7, 2008?

A release date now appears on the Internet Movie Database for the upcoming Grey Gardens film with Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore.

MIC: When’s it coming out?
MG: I think in the fall. You know, I’m not sure. Sex in the City is coming out in May, I know, because the posters are all over town.
I also can’t imagine Grey Gardens being a summertime movie. It’s just too dark.

Does anyone have an approximate date as to when this film will actually be released already? Also, do I really have to spend $100.00 to get the Eva Beale book on Edie? I'm not going to do that, it's way too much. Apparently Amazon is totally unable to secure this book at a reasonale price. Thanks for any info.
